Fisk No Match for Stillman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. | Forward Omari Murray scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half, and the Stillman College men's basketball team defeated Fisk 73-52 on Monday night.

 

Murray finished with eight rebounds as Stillman improved to 15-10.

 

Center Gerard DeVaughn had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers. Guard Lajay Sears scored 11 points and led Stillman with 10 rebounds. Point guard Rakee Anderson had eight points, six assists and three steals.

 

Stillman led 35-33 at halftime.

 

Aaron Hamilton scored 20 points to lead Fisk. Bradley Grayson had 15 points, and Cedrice Bennett scored 10. Myles Carroll, who scored seven points, led Fisk with five rebounds.

 

Stillman will play at home on Thursday, facing Albany State. The women's game starts at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game beginning at 7:30.
