Jackson leads Stillman past MVSU

ITTA BENA, Miss. | Mike Jackson was 3-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs to lead Stillman to a 10-8 win over Mississippi Valley State in Tuesday baseball action.
Also for Stillman, Jack Hazelrig was 2-for-5 with three runs scored, Sean Blair had a three-run home run and four RBIs and Justin Bryan was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.
Nick Bumstead got the win for Stillman, pitching six innings with five hits allowed, two earned runs allowed, two walks, seven strikeouts, and one hit batter.
Mississippi Valley was led by Jerry Hildreth, who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.
David Brauhn got the loss, going three innings with seven hits allowed, eight earned runs allowed, five walks, and three strikeouts.
Stillman improves to 17-18, while Mississippi Valley falls to 9-15.
