(TUSCALOOSA, AL.) — Stillman will have representation in the inaugural 2009 Russell Athletic Senior HBCU Bowl.

After Historical seasons, Senior RB Quinn Porter, OL Christopher Hymel, and DT Junior Galette were selected to participate in the game and look to put Stillman’s talent on the map.

The HBCU Senior Bowl will be the nation’s only unique post-season football game that will showcase the nation’s top HBCU talent. The CIAA and the MEAC will represent the East and the SIAC and the SWAC will represent the West, which are coached by HBCU’S legendary coaches and their coaching staff.

“ It’s a great opportunity for our players, especially when you think of the season we had.” Head Coach L. C. Cole said. “ They did a good job staying focus through adversities and had tremendous seasons to show for it. They deserve it.”

The 2009 HBCU Senior Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2:00pm in the capital city of Montgomery, Alabama at the Historical Cramton Bowl, and shall be broadcasted nationally by CBS College Sports.
