Guard Lajay Sears and Center Alecia Young were honored this week for their exceeding basketball performances last week.

Sears was named SIAC Player of the Week and Young received honorable mention.  In two games last week, Sears averaged 24.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 steals leading the Tigers to a 1-1 week.

In his best game, Sears scored 33 points and pulled down six rebounds in a 108-102 victory over LeMoyne-Owen.  

Alecia young averaged 14.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in two games last week and led the

Lady Tigers to a 2-0 week.
