Stillman College will hold it annual Confirmation Ceremony for new students, staff and faculty on Sunday, August 19th, 4 p.m., at Brown Memorial.  The ceremony marks the official recognition and confirmation of the Class of 2016 as members of the Stillman College community.  It also affirms the commitment of new faculty and staff to a student-centered community.  

 “The objective is to instill pride in and appreciation of Stillman’s rich heritage and to note symbolically the passing of knowledge from the College to the student,” said Dr. Sharon Whittaker-Davis, Vice President for Student Affairs.  “The program also connects the generation of the new millennium with that of the past by the ringing of the bell, one of many traditions of the College.”

This event is free and open to the public.
