The Lane College Lady Dragons defeated the Stillman Lady Tigers 79-68 on Saturday night. In the first half, Lane jumped out to a 9-0 lead to start the game, but Stillman would find their stride and go in at half time down 30-29.

Lane shot 42% for the half connecting on 11 of 26 shots. Stillman shot only 32 % on 12-37 shooting.

In the second half, it was all Lane as the relentless lady Dragons shot a scorching 72% percent from the field. Stillman shot a dismal 32 % percent for the game connecting on only 26 shots out of 72 attempts.

Alecia Young had 14 points for Stillman. Jamila Mckinnis and Brandi Turner each had 9 points. Stillman falls to 10-13 overall and 8-12 in SIAC with the loss.
