Tuscaloosa, AL| The Stillman Lady Tigers were in action Thursday night in Birthright Auditorium. The Lady Tigers took on Kentucky State University and came away with the 53-48 win.
Stillman went in at halftime with with a 24-22 lead and shot 31% for the half connecting on 9 of 29 shots.

Kentucky State made only 6 of 27 shots for the half but still found themselves down only two points at the break. The first half featured  six lead changes and five ties.

In the second half, the Lady Tigers outscored Kentucky State 29-26 and shot 32% from the field in the half. Kentucky State would shoot 31% from the field.

Stillman would go up by eight  with 14:44 left to play  and would control the the game the rest of the way.

Jasmon Hazley led all scorers with 11 points .
Phyllice Eubanks and Alecia Young each had eight points and nine rebounds.
With the win , Stillman improves to 8-11 overall and 10-12 in SIAC play.

Stillman will host Lane College Saturday.
