Official Transcripts

All financial obligations to Stillman College must be cleared as determined by the Business Office before transcripts can be released.  Transcripts may not be picked up by another party, unless written authorization is given by person making the request.  The designated person must show a picture I.D. before obtaining the transcript.

An official transcript bares the College’s seal and the signature of the Registrar.  An official transcript that must be returned to the person making the request to be included in an application packet (e.g. graduate school, employment etc.) must specifically request that the transcript be placed in a sealed envelope in order to avoid invalidation of transcript.

Unofficial Transcripts

An unofficial transcript does not bare the College’s seal and the signature of the Registrar.  Transcripts issued directly to the student unsealed/or faxed transcripts are unofficial transcripts.

Transcript Fees -

$5.00 per transcript (official or unofficial copy) in person or via postal mail - $5.00 to FAX transcript (copy is considered unofficial) - $18.95 for overnight service (USA only)

Transcripts-Requests by Mail

Requests must be submitted by letter or by use of an institutional transcript request form and should include the following information:

1.      Requesters full name/name used while in attendance

2.      Current address

3.      Daytime telephone number

4.      Student ID# or social security number

5.      Graduation date/years attended

6.      Name and address of the party to receive the transcript or download a transcript request form. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download the form.

7.      Fax number if applicable

8.      Any name used since last transcript request

Requests received by mail are processed within 72 hours after request is received.  No transcripts will be issued during the period of registration and final examinations. Additional time may be required following a holiday period, at the end of each term, during the College’s Commencement preparation, and for records prior to fall 1984.

Transcripts-Request in Person

Requests for transcripts are normally processed within 72 hours. No request for transcripts is honored during registration and final examinations.  Requests received during these periods and for records prior to 1984 will require additional processing time as will requests made at the end of a semester or during the two weeks prior to Commencement. Under no circumstances will a transcript be released to walk-ins and a photo I.D. may be required.
