Stillman College launches redesigned, enhanced web site

Stillman.edu has a new look and improved functionality.

Stillman College unveiled its new web site at 5 p.m. Tuesday, a landmark update nearly a half year in the making.

The new Stillman.edu features a modern, user-friendly design with improved organization, better navigability, and updated logos and word marks throughout.

Stillman College Director of Brand Identity Natorio Howard designed the new web site. He said updating and enhancing Stillman’s web presence was critically necessary for the college to meet the information and transactional needs of current and prospective students, staff and faculty, parents, and community stakeholders.

“A clean and organized full-service web site is the anchor of a modern brand,” Howard said. “I’m proud of our brand identity and communications staff for their tireless efforts in gathering information, designing the site, and testing it in the run-up to the launch.

“Our new web site will be an incredible asset for Stillman College.”

The site’s design and aesthetic align with other aspects of Stillman’s “Deeply Rooted, Future Driven” campaign, which launched with billboard and digital advertising in fall 2021. The campaign aims to tie the college’s rich history in education and service to its innovative initiatives to meet the unique needs of its students and an ever-evolving workforce. This focus is reflected in the college’s recent development of academic programs in cyber security and its biomedical academy, as well as its efforts to strengthen the pipeline of Black K-12 educators.

The site’s enhanced appearance is immediately evident; the home page features a vivid color profile, a carousel of images of student life and campus beauty, and updated branding and font packages.

Additionally, the user experience has been optimized through a simple navigation bar with drop-menus to every corner of the web site. The home page also includes an easy path to apply for admission and a neatly sorted “latest news” section.

“Stillman has been quietly producing quality and excellence in its graduates for over 146 years,” said Dr. Cynthia Warrick, president of Stillman College. “The new website will demonstrate boldly why we have been selected as a College of Distinction for three consecutive years.

“The future of Stillman is bright.”
