Welcome to the Division of Strategic Initiatives (DSI). DSI provides direct guidance and coordination for the overall strategic effort and tactical engagement and support with the many working groups required to achieve our institutional outcomes.DSI develops, provides, facilitates, and implements an array of unique initiatives, programs, relationships, and strategies that support and operationalize the overarching goals of the college. The division is to promote the interest of the college by building sustainable partnerships that will expand the growth and development of the Stillman community. Three core function of the Division of Strategic Initiatives include:
The Division is responsible for leading institutional strategic planning, the creation of the Strategic Plan and its continuous evolution.
The Office of Strategic Initiatives guides ongoing institutional strategic planning and coordinates the community’s conception and implementation of new strategic initiatives. In addition, this office supports:
The primary focus for DSI is the implementation of Stillman’s strategic plan, which represents our strategic direction and transformational changes to for Stillman to accomplish our mission and vision.
The HBCU Transformation Initiative enables the substantial transformation of HBCUs at scale, helping to close racial disparities and increase economic mobility and wealth-building for Black people and communities.
There is a compelling opportunity to invest in two primary intermediaries that have supported HBCUs for decades and a third that emerged during the COVID crisis. By investing in United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), and Partnership for Education Advancement (EdAdvance), Blue Meridian Partners supports a network of high-performing and high-potential HBCUs to increase enrollments, increase student outcomes, and support their longer-term financial sustainability. Stillman College was selected to be a part of cohort two of this three-year initiative.
