Scholarship/Programs Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
The position provides coordination and inclusive management of the undergraduate scholarship program under the responsibility of the VP of Institutional Advancement, working closely with the President, CFO, Data Entry Manager, IA Staff, and Faculty of Stillman College. Responsibilities include managing the student scholarship award processes, preparing reports, collaborating and communicating with appropriate departmental, collegiate, and university offices, and serving student scholarship needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Minimum two years of work experience in a responsible administrative position dealing with scholarships, financial aid, student services, or related areas; Evidence of successful project leadership and management experience, Evidence of strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; Demonstrated success at working effectively in a diverse, collaborative team environment; Demonstrated commitment to diversity and experience in multi-cultural settings or working with diverse audiences; Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently; Evidence of compiling information and strong problem-solving abilities; Established record of excellent time management and organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to prioritize deadlines; Experience in customer service environments and dedication to delivering quality services that promote high levels of satisfaction; Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with computerized databases, such as Excel, Access, or similar programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. Directly related experience performing the duties of the job may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Three years experience in a foundation/development environment or other related business function.
Demonstrated Knowledge of:
Development office procedures, programs, (contributions, scholarships, etc.); Personal computers and associated standard office software, basic customer service standards and principles; other office resources and equipment including phones and telecommunication systems, fax machines, copy machines.
Demonstrated Ability to:
Develop and maintain effective working relationships; effectively communicate verbally and in writing; provide effective and responsive service to customers and contacts; perform all assigned tasks efficiently and accurately and create and maintain accurate records; prioritize and manage multiple projects or change priorities quickly; operate a variety of office equipment; identify and resolve problems or issues with students, staff and clients.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standard office environment. Recurring early/late hours (weekend/early morning/evening meetings). Minimal physical exertion required. Position does not contain physical elements beyond the handling of everyday objects and materials.
