With deep sorrow, the Board of Trustees, Office of the President, and Office of Alumni Affairs announce the passing of Irving Blue, president of the National Alumni Association of Stillman College, Inc. (NAASC) and Trustee. President Blue’s profound commitment to the Stillman community will last far beyond his lifetime.
President Blue was impactful throughout the Stillmansphere, including as president of the Tuscaloosa Alumni Chapter, Coordinator for the Stillman Community Outreach Center (COPC), Executive Director of the Stillman Foundation, and Historic Stillman House Committee member. Earlier this year, as president of NAASC he led the effort to name Alumni Row.
We offer our most heartfelt condolences to his wife, Lisa (Class of 1994), children, and loved ones during this difficult time. We send special thanks to the Class of 1993, The Brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and F.B.I.; may his legacy continue to inspire and guide us.
