Programs Leading to Licensure
Stillman College has only one program that prepares for state licensure and that is the
Stillman Teacher Education Program, (STEP). This program is guided by the
requirements for Teacher Education in the State of Alabama and is not designed to
satisfy the requirements of other state boards of education. Students from outside of
the State of Alabama are advised to consult with their state boards of education or with
an Educator Preparation Program within their state in order to fully understand the
requirements for licensure.
