Live Stream

The Commencement Ceremony will be live-streamed on the Stillman College YouTube Channel.

 

Rehearsal

Friday, May 8, 2026 | 10:00 a.m.

Location: Sheppard Lawn

  • Rehearsal will last approximately 40 minutes 
  • Immediately following, graduates will receive their walk authorization card 
  • Total time: approximately 1–1.5 hours 
  • Volunteers will assist with seating 

Important: You must have your authorization card to participate in the ceremony.

 

Commencement Ceremony

Saturday, May 9, 2026 | 9:00 a.m.

Location: Sheppard Lawn

Graduates

  • Arrival time: 7:30 a.m. 
  • Line up at the east entrance of Birthright Alumni Hall (from Sheppard Lawn) 
  • Cap decorating is permitted 
  • Leave coats and bags with your guests 
  • Clear bag policy will be strictly enforced (see link for details) 
  • Degrees will be distributed in the glass foyer immediately following the ceremony 

Guests

  • Seating is open (not assigned) 
  • Doors open one hour prior to the ceremony 

Golden Class (50-Year Reunion)

  • Gather at Wynn Center at 7:00 a.m. 

 

Directions, Parking & Entry

Campus Entry

  • Graduates: Brown Memorial Gate (36th Ave/John Knox Circle) 
  • Faculty and Staff: 18th Street Gate off Fosters Ferry Road 
  • Guests and Family: Main Gate off Stillman Blvd and 38th Ave/Campus Drive 

Parking

  • Available in lots adjacent to Birthright, Rouhlac, Wynn Center, Stillman Stadium, and behind Hay Hall 
  • Stinson and Batchelor parking spaces will be closed for reserved parking 

Additional Information

  • Doors to Birthright Alumni Hall open at 8:00 a.m. from the glass lobby entrance closest to the Main Gate 
  • No umbrellas will be allowed inside the gym 

 

Overflow Viewing / Indoor Seating

Overflow viewing will be available at:

  • Stinson Auditorium 
  • Wynn Center – Warner Presentation Room 

The ceremony will also be available via live stream.

Keynote Speaker Earvin "Magic" Johnson

Stillman College proudly welcomes Earvin “Magic” Johnson as the 2026 Commencement Speaker.

A global icon, business leader, and philanthropist, Johnson has built an extraordinary legacy both on and off the court. As a five-time NBA champion and successful entrepreneur, he has transformed communities through leadership, strategic investment, and advocacy.

His journey from athletic excellence to business leadership reflects resilience, vision, and purpose. His message is expected to inspire graduates to lead boldly, build legacy, and create lasting impact.

Photography

A professional photographer will capture the moment when graduates receive their Stillman College diploma cover. Ordering instructions for photos of the ceremonies will be emailed to the graduate by late May.

Stillman College will honor its Golden Class – the Class of 1975 – for its 50-year reunion. Those present for the ceremony will be: Pamela Bell, Dennis Davis, O’Neil Davis Carpenter, Linda Faye Suttle Harris, Clara Jackson, Joe Springer, Katie Stanciel, Charles Storey, and Larry Williams.

Academic program banners are carried by the graduate with the highest GPA in that program.
