Stillman College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Psychology. We seek a dedicated educator committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and student engagement within a liberal arts environment rooted in the historical mission of Stillman College. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate psychology courses and support student development through effective instruction, mentorship, and active engagement in the classroom.

Primary Responsibilities• Teach undergraduate psychology courses as assigned by the department.• Teach introductory and upper-level psychology courses based on departmental needs and the candidate's area of expertise.• Deliver instruction using effective pedagogical practices and appropriate instructional technologies.• Foster student engagement through active learning, critical inquiry, and evidence- based approaches to the study of human behavior.• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.• Utilize the College's Learning Management System (LMS) to support instruction and communication.• Participate in departmental meetings and activities as appropriate.• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.Required Qualifications• Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.• Demonstrated knowledge of psychology content areas.• Ability to teach undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.• Experience using instructional technology and learning management systems.Preferred Qualifications• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology or a closely related field.• College-level teaching experience.• Experience teaching introductory psychology, social psychology, research methods, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, or other undergraduate psychology courses.• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.• Experience mentoring undergraduate students.• Evidence of professional engagement through scholarship, presentations, clinical practice, community outreach, or related activities.Application InstructionsApplicants should submit:1.
