Technology Support Specialist: 

The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for providing technology support to faculty and staff members that utilize company applications and systems. They will also support a variety of equipment comprising desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, phones, network devices, etc. The Technology Support Specialist will provide technology support onsite, remotely, over the phone and via email.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Provide user support for technology related issues. Enter, monitor, and complete tickets for issues in the helpdesk tracking platform, which includes details of the problem, troubleshooting performed, & resolution.
• Create, change, & delete user accounts and permissions per HR request.
• Provide PC maintenance including OS refresh, hardware/software upgrades, & replacements
• Apply OS patching and application installs/upgrades as needed
• Document operational, configuration, or other technology procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

• Entry level experience working with or in information technology or computer science. 
• Knowledge of technology solutions, including desktops, laptops, printers, file servers, print servers, networking. 
• Solid understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities. 
• Ability to work with multiple technologies and ability to quickly learn and use new technologies. 
• Knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems, computer installation and connectivity. 
• Ability to react to change productively and manage priorities

Job Type: Full-time, Contract: 1 Year
