The Search for the 8th President of Stillman College

In September, Stillman College announced that Dr. Cynthia Warrick, the first woman to serve as president of Stillman, would retire at the conclusion of her contract in June 2023.

Stillman’s presidential search committee is tasked with finalizing a position description, which will define the skills and traits the next president needs to be successful. The committee will collaborate with the search firm to engage college stakeholders, develop the search timeline, distribute the position announcement, review applications, conduct initial interviews, and present finalists to the Board of Trustees for consideration.

The presidential search committee will begin accepting candidate applications and nominations soon, and the Board of Trustees expects to make its final decision on the next president by June 2023.

Stillman College is committed to its policy that all persons shall have equal access to its programs, facilities, and employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age marital status, disability, public assistance status, veteran status, or sexual orientation.
